Edwardsville Wrestling Club's 2nd Annual 5k/1 Mile Fun Run!

The race will take place on mainly on the bike trail starting behind the Edwardsville High School. This is a great course to make your PR.

Come support our wrestlers in raising money for their club. We are a not-for-profit organization. Each EWC wrestler will be racing for their sponsors. They each will be obtaining sponsors to support them in their run. Not only are they raising money but they are earning it, having fun and getting exercise at the same time!!

Radio station Y98.1 will be on site with their crew, featuring Kevin the Intern from The Phillips and Company Morning Show. Kevin will be performing the opening ceremony and acknowledging all the businesses that come out to support our great cause.

If you would rather get a tooth pulled over running you can always support us as a Virtual Runner by donating on-line and you can still join us for the post race celebration with bounce houses, local vendors, chiropractor providing on-site services, games and more!

Event details and schedule

What:    5k race on Nature/Nickel Plate Trail 
              1 mile Fun Run immediately following 5k race
             T-shirts and awards for top finishers in each division plus top overall Male/Female finisher

When:   November 14, 2015
            5k Starts at 9 am
            Fun run starts at 10 am

Where:  Jon Davis (Edwardsville) Wrestling Center 
              
Entry:   5k - $25 in advance, $30 on race day
            1 mile fun run - $15 in advance, $20 on race day
            Fun Run for free for 5k participants

Most of the course will be on the bike trail. There is a small portion where those participating in the 5k will be running on the shoulder of Center Grove Road. Please stay within the orange cones and edge of shoulder away from the road.

Please park at the Edwardsville High School or the Sports Complex Parking Lot

Dress comfortably and arrive at least 30 minutes prior to race time for check-in and race day registration. Race day registration will end @ 8:45 am.

Packet Pickup will be November 11th from 5pm-8pm at the Jon Davis Wrestling Center, 6168 Center Grove Rd, Edwardsville
