M3RC's Beer Run 5k + 2 pts...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

M3RC's Beer Run 5k + 2 pts is an event like no other.  For the past 5 years this local fund raiser for the MidMichigan Multisport Racing Club has been packed with hundreds of costume clad runners who know that at this event, its about the fun, not the run.  To place at this event you'll need more than a lightning fast running pace--you'll  also need a belly of steel as our format includes drinking a pint---running/walking 5k----drinking another pint----cross the finish line.   This event is not professionally timed and the only time that is important is how long it takes you to finish your drink, so start training!  Other than that, just plan to dress up in your favorite Halloween costume.  Prizes for top male and female finisher.  Prizes for best costumes and tons of fun for all! 

Event details and schedule

Packet pick up and day of registration ($30)  from 5:15-6:15.

Group toast and race start at 6:30 pm.

Out and Back course along the Chippewa Trail.  ID required for those planning to drink alcohol along with a seperate $10 to purchase your pre and post event beer (beer is NOT included in your entry fee) paid directly to MBC.  Costumes are not required but are encouraged!  Awards for the best costumes!  FUN fund raiser for M3RC which is completely run by volunteers.  Remember, it's about the fun, not the run.  See you there!
