The Saxapahaw Heron Trot features a beautiful course in historic Saxapahaw, NC. The course is home to the 2015 Central Carolina Athletic League Cross Country Champions, the Hawbridge School Herons.

9:00AM - Start of 5k Run/Walk

10:00AM - Overall and Age Group Awards

Course Info:

The course for the Saxapahaw Heron Trot features a mass start in an open field, wide grassy trails around Saxapahaw Village Farm, and gravel roads and wooded trails on Cane Creek Farm. The course features 3 challenging hill climbs and beautiful scenery. This course is home to the Hawbridge School Herons; the 2-time Central Carolina Athletic League Cross Country Champions.

Arrival Info:

Please arrive no later than 8:15AM. Packet pick-up will close at 8:30AM. 

Parking:

Parking is available in the large field used for public parking. This is also the start and finish of the race.

Awards:

There will be awards given out to the top-three male and female finishers overall, as well as the top finishers in each of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Race T-shirts:

All participants who pre-register by 10/28/16 will be guaranteed a custom race t-shirt.
