NJ Walks for TS at Bergen
Bergen County is now a stigma-free zone, so what better place to join together and advocate for Tourette Syndrome support and awareness!
Our first NJ Walks for TS at Bergen will take place Saturday, November 12th at the Overpeck Park Amphitheatre in Leonia. This picturesque 5K walk/family fun run is a day of fun, acceptance, awareness and empowerment for New Jersey's 28,000 children and families living with Tourette Syndrome and its associated disorders.
This event is a chance to stand up and step out to break the stigma attached to TS and show your support for our friends, family and neighbors living with this misunderstood neurological disorder.
All proceeds will benefit the NJCTS Education Outreach Program which delivers in-service trainings to schools and hospitals across the state, youth leadership training and scholarships.
This event was founded for kids, by kids. Sign up today, form a team and let's help these extraordinary young people reach their fullest potential.
