BRAVE 5k Bringing Remembrance to All Veteran's Everywhere...

• 5K Run / Walk:- Run 3.1 Miles

On Saturday, November 5^th in conjunction with the Veteran’s Parade, the NMMI/ROTC Garrey Owen Squadron will host a commemorative 5k run – the B.R.A.V.E “Bring Remembrance to All Veterans Everywhere”.  This is a FREE run accepting donations to benefit the American Legion Operation Comfort Warrior NM program that benefits wounded New Mexico service men and women. NMMI ROTC Garry Owen Squadron would like to invite all in the community to conduct a 5k run to honor those veterans within the Roswell, NM and Chaves county community that are currently serving and those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces.   Follow us https://www.facebook.com/brave5k/or for more information contact [email protected].

Hello Runner! Thank you for participating in the 2nd Annual B.R.A.V.E. "Bringing Remembrance to All Veteran's Everywhere" commemorative 5K run.    

This is a free run but DONATIONS are encouraged and will benefit: American Legion, Operation Comfort Warrior NM. Please dress up in patriotic colors & show your support.  

RACE STARTS at 7:30 a.m. Racers line up at 7:00 am on 4th & Main Street.

Packet Pick up & Late Registration 

6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. - Saturday, November 5th, 501 N. Main Street, Berkshire-Hathaway

ROUTE:  Race starts on Main & 4th Street, travels North on Main St, then West on 19th Street, South on Kentucky Avenue, East on College Avenue to Main Street, South on Main Street back to 4th Street  

AWARDS: Garrey Owen Squadron SABERS will be awarded for 1st place male & female.  All participants receive a medal & lanyard.

SWAG:  All racers will receive a medal and bib.  First 200 Registered Participants receive T-shirt.  T-shirts are not guaranteed for late registration. (While supplies last)

PARKING:  NO PARKING in the Pioneer Plaza area.  Runners can park in the East parking lot behind the court house behind Virginia Ave. or on the side streets.

Porta potties available on 5th Street between Main and Virginia Ave.
