Event Details:
Who will you run for? Dedicate your run this October in the Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women's upcoming #IWillRunForHer 5k Community Run to raise awareness about how you or your loved one(s) have been affected by domestic violence!
October is domestic violence awareness month. 4 out of 5 of our Native women are affected by violence, with 55% of their experiences being domestic violence. To further the conversations about the impact of domestic violence on our Native women and children, CSVANW will be hosting a 5k Community Run and 1k Kid awareness run to honor the resilience, strength and spirit of our Native women and children. As a statewide tribal coalition, we invite all of our tribal communities, survivors, members, service providers, families of survivors, and supporters to join us. Save the date!
