The first annual Community Hospice 5K Run and Walk will take place in beautiful Sugarcreek, Ohio in the gateway to Ohio's Amish Country. Proceeds from this event go to  Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County. They assist in the care of those facing a life-limiting illness, their families and their caregivers. Hospice care addresses the patient's physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs. Hospice care also helps the patient's family caregivers.

The race is sponsored by Dutch Valley Gifts, Eagle Machinery and The Harvest Barn. Starting at The Harvest Barn, the route travels down a wide paved county road towards Ragersville, loops and ends up back at The Harvest Barn.
