The 4th Annual Joshua 1:9 Freedom Run 5K is being held to generate awareness and support for Christians who are persecuted every day – just for their faith. Our goal is to help raise awareness about the persecution of Christians in the Middle East and Africa. Last year we raised $5,700 from the run and 100% of the funds went directly to Persecuted Christians living in refugee camps.
In the spirit of this mission, we invite you to run, walk, or stroll with us on Saturday, November 19th at 8am!
You can run, walk, stroll or observe race day! Or virtually participate and we will mail you a bib and race day t-shirt!
We will have a 5K Run/Walk and a 1M Fun Run/Walk.
7AM - Same Day Registration and Packet Pickup
8AM - 5K Chipped Run starts
9:00 - 1M Fun Run / walk starts
10:00 - Awards
Continued Fellowship and music through morning!
Where will the funds go? Our mission is to help those who are persecuted for their Christian faith, especially in the Middle East and Africa. Proceeds for this year’s run are going directly to families and children who are homeless and living in refugee camps in Iraq.
This is a unique opportunity to support those in desperate need locally or virtually through a fun activity!
