St. Peter Chanel 5K - benefiting Special Olympics GA...

The Knights of Columbus, Council #13217 of St. Peter Chanel Catholic Community in Roswell, GA is sponsoring a chip-timed run/walk 5K event for the benefit of Special Olympics Georgia and the Knights of Columbus charities.

The 5K event is scheduled to begin at 8:00am ET, Saturday, November 19, 2016.

Race day registration opens at 6:30am.

This will be a popular event to exercise and socialize with other members of St. Peter Chanel, the Knights of Columbus, and others from the Roswell and Atlanta Georgia metro areas. Everyone is welcome. We encourage your participation and support for the Special Olympics Georgia and the Knights of Columbus charities.

Event details and schedule

The event will be held Saturday, November 19, 2016 at 8:00am ET at the campus of St. Peter Chanel. The course and starting place will be the back parking lot of Blessed Trinity High School. Follow the signs. There is plenty of free parking.

It is recommended that you arrive 1.5 hours before the event (6:30am) to obtain your gift bag and to complete day of event check-in. See our website at 5K.supportourprojects.com for more details and the latest updates.

Children 12 and under accompanied by a paid adult do not need to be registered for this event. T-Shirts for non-registered children 12 and under may be purchased at the event on November 21 for $10. Registration for children 12 and under is only required if they wish to be officially timed.

T-Shirts for paid registered runners/walkers are included in the registration fee at no added cost.
