Welcome to registration for the 5th Annual Tri-State Warrior Run/Walk! Enjoy a beautiful Fall morning with a 5k and 10k run or 1 mile walk through the scenic grounds of the historic Illinois Veteran's Home in Quincy Illinois. Dedicated in 1886 as the Illinos Soldier's and Sailor's Home, this facility is one of the largest and oldest in the United States.

Routes will take participants around the historic grounds to see extraordinary architechture, peaceful woods, the Old Bridge, Memorial Cemetary, Medal of Honor Memorial, Deer Park and Avenue of Flags. If you're lucky (or unlucky) you may get stopped at the Train Crossing!

Come join us for this wonderful family event that benefits the Tri-State Warrior Outreach, supporting unmet needs of area Veterans and their families since 2012.

Online Registration ends at midnight Sunday 10/30/16, shirts & medals guaranteed up to cutoff. Packet pickup and walk-in registration on Race Day. For more info email: [email protected]

Event details and schedule

7:30am- Registration/Sign-in begins at the American Legion shelter house near Lake Illinois (all participants must be registered by 8:30am)

8:30am- A short brief for all runners and walkers

8:45am- Opening ceremonies (Prayer, Pledge of Allegiance, Nation Anthem & recognition of all Veterans in attendance)

9:00am- 5K &10K Run/1Mile Walk will begin!

Parking available off the 12th St entrance and on the West side of Lake Illinois.

Heated bathrooms and water at the shelter house.

Water stations at registration and on the course. Post-race snacks provided.

Event is timed for fun only. Don't forget to hand in your raffle ticket for the shoe drawing.
