Black Cat 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk...

Enjoy beautiful Peace Valley Park while helping adoptable pets by participating in the Black Cat 5K / 1 Mile Fun Walk benefiting the Bucks County SPCA. Runners are invited to participate in the professionally timed Black Cat 5K race, while walkers, animal lovers and their four-legged friends can enjoy the non-competitive walk.  Check in begins at 8:00 a.m. and the race and walk will start at 9:00 a.m.  
Before and after the race, you can learn about and meet adoptable pets from the Bucks County SPCA. You may even be lucky enough to find a forever friend! 

Event details and schedule

Scenic level course around Lake Galena begins and ends on the walking path just below Sailor's Point. Race starts promptly at 9:00 a.m. and will be held rain or shine, with the exception of snowstorms or hurricanes (we've had to deal with both in the past!). Check-in for preregistrants and same-day registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and is held at Pavilion 3/4 (follow signs). Additional free parking is available at Sailor's Point. Awards will be given to the overall male and female winners of the 5K and to the top three male and female 5K finishers in each age group. There will be plenty of post-race refreshments for all runners and walkers. You may register on race day but the fee for the 5K increases to $30 as of Oct. 22. Race t-shirts while supplies last so register early to make sure you receive a shirt.  (The design is really cool!) Size requests will be honored to the best of our ability but size may be substituted.
