• 1M Run:- Run 1 Mile

A 5K road race has been a part of BYU Homecoming for more than 30 years.

Event Fees

5K:
Early Registration: $15 by September 18.
Pre-Registration: $20 by October 14, 8:00 pm.
Day of Race: $30.

Kids Race:
Early Registration: $5 by September 18.
Pre-Registration: $10 by October 14, 8:00 pm.
Day of Race: $20.

Awards

5K Overall Male & Female Awards
Top three male and female finishers will receive a medal.

5K Age Group Awards
Top three finishers in each age group will receive a medal.

Kids Races Awards
All children will receive a participation ribbon.
Top three in each age group will receive a medal.

Kids Race

The Cougar Run also includes kids races, which are contested in the Robison Track and Field Complex prior to the 5K race. Children ages 1-4 compete in a 200 meter run, ages 5-6 compete in a 400 meter run, ages 7-9 compete in a 800 meter run, and ages 10-12, in a one mile run.
