 _ 2016 UCP's Race for Independence 5k & 1/2K Walk & Roll:

United Cerebral Palsy of Arkansas will be hosting the 2016 Race for Independence October 8 at the Pinnacle Hills Promenade in Rogers.The event will include a 5k run and a ½K fun walk/roll for people of all abilities. The event will benefit UCP's Family Support Program which provides assistance to families caring for their children with developmental disabilities at home. We believe families are th...e greatest resource available to children. Like typically developing children, children with disabilities need supportive relationships in nurturing homes. The extraordinary care needs of a child with a disability can stretch a family’s resources, strength and energy. Private funding through our Family Support Program is used only when service through all other sources has been exhausted.
