- On Sunday, Nov. 6, the North Haven Rotary Club and Tessa Marie Memorial will hold their 5th annual 5k Road Race & Fun Run.
This road race benefits the Tessa Marie Fund, which helps underprivileged children, and children in need of medical care and attention. As a club we feel that every child deserves the chance for a healthy and active life. Some children lack these opportunities — we want to help them.
A majority of the 5K and fun run proceeds will benefit the fund.
Additionally, a portion of proceeds from this event will go towards a donation to the local food bank. We will also be collecting non-perishable at the race for the North Haven Food Bank.
Here is the 5K and Fun Run course routes.
The road race and fun run take place on neighborhood streets around the North Haven High School. The roads are mostly flat, with no major hills. The race begins and ends at the high school.
Regsitration begins at 8 a.m. The 1-mile fun and road race kick off together at 10 a.m.
Ample free parking is available onsite in the school parking lot.
After the race, The North Haven Rotary Club will hold its annual pancake breakfast onsite in the North Haven High School cafeteria.
