Home of The Brave 5k Walk/Run...

The Fort Walton Beach Women,s Club is proud to host  the "Home of the Brave " 5k Run/Walk  with proceeds to benefit the  "Home of the Brave" memorial mural  to be painted inside Choctawhatchee High School to honor eleven graduates killed while serving in the United States military. The race will include the Bud and Dorie Day Patriots' Trail starting at the BAck Pass at Uptown Station then onto trail into Ferry Park along Ferry, Sudduth and Yacht Club Drive, and finishing up at Uptown Stationl The course will be a nice, flat and shaded.

A 1 mile Fun Run will follow the 5K for kids under 12. T-shirts will be given to the first 200 particpants. A post race party with awards will follow at Uptown Station. Prizes will be awarded for 1st ,2nd and 3rd runners in each age division and top five walkers male/female. Special awards for overall winners.

Early package pickup will be available on Tuesaday November 10th from 4-6pm at the Brooks Beal Centerat 100 Beal Parkway NW in Ft Waltn BEach. Packages may also be picked up at Uptown Station starting at 6:30 am on morning of the race.

Timing will be handles by NWFTC and posted on the NWFTC website.

There will race day sign up in the morning of the race or at Brooks Beal Street Center at 100 Beal Parkway in Ft Walton Beach from 4-6pm
