BRAIN DRAIN ZOMBIE RUN

HOW IT WORKS

The Brain Drain Zombie Run is an apocalyptic 5k immersive experience.  You are not running against a clock—you’re running from brain-hungry, virus-spreading, bloody zombies.

BASIC SURVIVAL

Before the race, you will be given a balloon belt.  These balloons represent your health.

•  The zombies want to take your balloons and maybe eat your brains.
•  If you lose all your health balloon, you will receive the “Infected” sticker at the finish line.
•  If you finish with a balloon, you will receive the “Survivor” sticker at the finish line.  Yea!

WHAT YOU’RE UP AGAINST

There will be zombies.  Their job is to chase you and eat you—but mainly go after your health, in the form of your balloon belt.  Avoid the zombies to keep your health balloons.  Use speed, strategy, and your intact brains to make it to the FINISH LINE “alive” with at least ONE BALLOON INTACT.  If you finish with zero health balloons, this means the zombies have successfully transformed you into the “undead.” Finish the run but receive the “Infected” sticker.

HOW YOU’LL DO IT

There will be a start line, a finish line, and the opportunity to avoid zombies in between.  Multiple routes may be available to reach the finish line.  Choose wisely or your 5K might turn into a 10k.

THE ZOMBIES

Our undead chasers will do whatever it takes to chase you down and grab your health balloons.  Our zombies will be fed right before the race, but please remember:

•  Zombies will not physically contact any runner other than in attempt to pull a health balloon.
•  Direct physical contact (pulling, grabbing, pushing, striking, etc) between zombies and runners will not be permitted.
•  Do not taunt the zombies with your brains—that’s just plain mean.

ZOMBIE RULES

Direct and intentional physical contact with any runner is strictly prohibited.  All of those in violation of this rule will be escorted off the grounds without a refund.  Those in violation may also be prosecuted depending on the severity of the act.
