_ 2016 Great Pumpkin 5K - Warren:
The Great Pumpkin 5K is back for its 6th season! Enjoy the autumn weather by running or walking along the beautifgul Kent State Trumbull Campus on a crisp, fall morning, while helping raise funds for United Way of Trumbull County.
Packet Pickups and day of registrations will be held in the Kent State technology Building beginning at 7:30 a.m., with the 5K at 9 a.m. First 150 5K registrants will receive a FREE event t-shirt. Prizes will also awarded for Best Costumes for both adults and children, so feel free to come in costume!
Immediatley following the 5K will be the kids' 50 yard dash, followed by our first ever MASCOT Race featuring Chuck E. Cheese, Chick-fil-A's Cow, Dunkin' Donut's Cuppy, Seven Seventeen's Dollar Dog and Scrappy of the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.
5K Preregistration is $20 (on or before 10/26) 5K Race Day Price is $25 Kids' 50 Yard Dash is FREE to kids 12 and under (MUST sign up by 10 a.m.) 5K Medals will be presented to the top 3 over-all winners and by age division. Age divisions are 14 & under, 15-19, 20-19, 30-19, 40-49, 50-59 and 60+.

The 5K will start and finish at the Kent State Trumbull Technology Building, and will follow and out-and-back course down Educational Highway to Champion Street and back again.
In an effort to help provide food for those in need this holiday season, collection bins for canned goods and other non-perishable food items will be available at the registration doors for those willing to give.
