Run Baby Run...

• 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles

As Alabama's first Baby Friendly Hospital, RMC OB Services will be hosting our 3rd annual 5k glow run.  We will be celebrating World Breastfeeding Week in November this year!  Yes there will be football games but it wont be so hot!! We will have a well marked course with minimal turns and absolutely no traffic!! 

Last year we were able to raise money to open our Milk Depot.  This year we are raising money to help us support our neonatal abstinence syndrome babies. 

A huge thank you to Oxford PARD and Choccolocco Park for allowing us to host this event at their beautiful facility!  We are their very first 5K scheduled!!  This will be a stroller friendly course so bring the whole family!!  Registration will begin at 2pm and the race will begin at 2:30pm on November 19th.  To guarantee you get a t shirt and race packet with glow necklace and bracelets make sure to register by October 22nd.  Feel free to email me with any questions [email protected]

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick up will be at Regional Medical Center Anniston in the Women's Pavillion on Thursday November 17th from 11a until 5pm.  If you are unable to pick up your packet at that time plan to pick it up at the event or email me to make special arrangements: [email protected]

Registration will be available on the day of the event but tshirts and packets will not be guaranteed for late or onsite registration  

Please arrive to check in by 2pm.  

Medals will be awarded to the top 3 males and top 3 females in each division except pregnant momma where only top 3 females will be awarded. 

Dress comfortably for the weather, but we encourage fun outfits, if you are in the stroller division decorate your stoller or wagon!
