Proceeds Benefit PEAK EXPEREINCES and TORETURN.org. Both programs send adventurous people with duffle bags of needed supplies, bringing hope and a reaching hand to the real needs of people in remote regions. These people would otherwise never get these supplies unless directly handed to them. This year’s event is dedicated to supplying boots, jackets, hats, tents, and gloves to the porters on Kilimanjaro in Africa so they can begin to safely climb the mountain and RETURN to their families. A Kilimanjaro porter will carry over 60 lbs to over 15,000 feet in hopes of a few dollars to feed his family. And he will do so in shoes with torn soles, a cotton blanket, meager mittens, and a tattered pack with no hip straps.  We have so much to be thankful for in our blessed country.  We want to share that blessing.
