The 2nd annual Bay Point Turkey Trot 5K and Family Fun Run is benefiting the Wesley Burnham Foundation. The Wesley Burnham Foundation was set up to honor Wesley's love for music, his faith in God, and his ability to make people smile through preschool scholarships and music programs. To honor Wesley's life, the Bay Point Community is hosting the Bay Point Turkey Trot 5K.

The Bay Point Turkey Trot is a beautiful 5K run/walk course along the marina, golf course and quaint homes. Bay Point is located off of Magnolia Road and Jan Cooley on the east end of Panama City Beach.

Every participant will receive a Wesley Burnham Foundation goodie bag, Bay Point Turkey t-shirt, a commemorative runner’s bib and a beautiful medal. All kids that participate in the Family Fun Run will receive a Bay Point Turkey Trot t-shirt and a beautiful medal. Enjoy music, a bouncy house for the kids, photo booth, and food and drinks in the park during/after the race.

Event details and schedule

The Bay Point Turkey Trot is held on Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 24th at 8:00 a.m. The start/finish is at the Bay Point Marina Park, across from Club 19. Pre-race registration is open at 6:30 a.m. Entry fee is $35.00 through October 31st, and $40.00 beginning November 1st. The Family Fun Run is $15.00 through October 31st and $20.00 beginning November 1st. The Bay Point Turkey Trot is to benefit the Wesley Burnham Foundation. Club 19 is located next to the Bay Point Golf Club. Parking is located in front of Club 19, the Bay Point Marina and the Sheraton of Bay Point.
