This is a CERTIFIED, FLAT, FAST FUN run with cool shirts and awards.
The Canton Police Department would like you to run with them,
not from them.
The 5K run will take place in the beautiful Etowah River Park/Heritage Park. Police in the Park is an event to promote "Unity in our Community."

Police in the Park event
Police in the Park is an event to promote "Unity in our Community." So come for the run, and stay for the fun. The run will start at 9:00 am, followed by the Kids Fun Run. The food and entertainment will be from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. There's something for everyone: Kids Fun Run Police Demonstrations Jump Houses Public Safety Vehicles Food Music Entertainment for the kids
Event Beneficiary
Proceeds from the event go to a Police Fund; which provides support and funds for local families and individuals in times of need.
Event Registration
Regular Registration is $25 for the 5K, and $15 for the Fun Run. Race day registrations are welcome for $5 more (no shirt guarantee on race day)
Event Cap
Due to course & space restrictions…the event is capped at 500.
Course & Timing
Awesome super flat CERTIFIED course through Etowah River Park & Heritage Park using the paved trail and the walking bridge that connects them. We'll be chip timing the start & finish, so you're guaranteed to get a great time you can use for the Peachtree.

All participants registered by 10/30 are guaranteed a great technical shirt in their size. We'll have some extras…but we can't guarantee receipt or size after 10/30. Awards to the Overall Male & Female, Overall Masters Male & Female, as well as the Top 3 in each of the regular 5 year age groups (10 & Under to 75+)

Courtesy Policy: Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final. There are no refunds, deferments, or transfers.
