2016 will mark the 28th Anniversary of the Charlotte South Park Turkey Trot, one of Charlotte's longest-running events, and one of the largest events in North Carolina.  The race has become an annual Thanksgiving Day tradition for over 10,000+ participants, representing families and friends across generations.  It’s a happy and healthy way to start off one of the best days of the year!

 Thanks to the ongoing support of our participants and sponsors, we’ve got something for everyone to join in on! And, as always, our commitment to maintaining a first-class event all-around is our highest priority.

Event details and schedule

Packet Pick-up & Registration will take place on Tuesday, November 22 from 12pm(noon) to 6 pm  and Wednesday, November 23  from 11 am to 6pm at Sharon United Methodist Church (4411 Sharon Road) . Raceday- Packet Pick-up only at Southpark Mall in Front of Dicks Sporting Goods and Sympony Park in a big Tent also Post Race Festivities are located here in Symphony park, just off Barkley Downs.

b.  Thursday, Nov 24, - 6:30am – Packet Pick-up/ No Raceday Registration in the Southpark Mall Parking Lot in front of Dicks.

a. 8:30 am- 1 Mile Fun Run

b. 9:00am- 8k Run/Baby Joggers

c. 9:30 am-5K Run/Walk

d. 10:15 am – Tot Trot

e. 10:30 am – Awards Ceremony

Note: Strollers should line up in designated area
