4th Annual Georgetown Turkey Trot 5 Miler...

The Georgetown Running Club and Sertoma are hosting the Georgetown Turkey Trot again.  Challenge your family, friends, and co-workers to come out and run on the roads and trails in Georgetown that starts and finishes in beautiful downtown Georgetown on the square.  The race will feature an untimed 5 mile run/walk and 1 mile walk (both starting at 8am), sponsor booths, and tons of fun!  Fun course that is ideal for the walker to the competitive runner and everything in between.  Great for strollers too!!  There will be a Kids' Fun Run too prior to the start of the run and walk!

Proceeds will be shared between the Williamson County Meals on Wheels and Friends of Georgetown Parks and Recreation (Park Pals).  We will also be collecting nonperishable food for The Caring Place.

Registration

5 mile run & 1 mile walk is $30 online ($25 for Georgetown Running Club members), includes a shirt (guaranteed long sleeve tech shirt for entries received by 11/6, after that while supplies last).  Entry fee increases to $35 on Nov 7 ($30 for Georgetown Running Club members).  Online registration ends Wednesday, 23^rd, but entries accepted at packet pick-up and race day. Entry increases to $40 on race day, Nov 24^th.  All Georgetown Running Club members receive a $5 discount.

Long Sleeve Tech Shirt Guarantee - enter by 11/6

Guaranteed long sleeve tech shirt for entries received by 11/6, after that while supplies last, so register before 11/7!  You must also pick up your shirt at packet pick-up.  No shirts will be held after the event.

Timing - untimed w/digital clock

This is an untimed fun run, so that over $1,000 can go to the race charities.  We will have a timing clock at the finish line for you to see your time as you finish.

Awards

Presented to the top 5 male and female finishers in the following categories:  18 and under, 19-39, 40-59, and 60 and over.  Over 40 awards to be given out when you finish!

Kids’ Fun Run - start at 7:45am

Prior to the Turkey Trot there will be a Kids’ Fun Run.  Sign up will be on race morning and is free however donations will be greatly appreciated.  All children will receive a ribbon upon completion.
