• Early bird online registration opens Aug. 29, 2016 and closes on Oct. 14, 2016.
• Same-day online registration closes at 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 15, 2016.
• CASH ONLY for same-day in-person registration

  Dress in your heroic or villainous best for this epic fun run and festival! Open to the public. Gate access security protocols apply.

• Costume contest (Best Hero Costume, Best Villain Costume, Best Family Costume)
• Cape making, pumpkin (first come, first serve, limited supplies available) decorating, professional photos and other activities
• Petting zoo
• Food and beverages available for purchase

Activity Schedule

• 9:30 a.m.: Same-day online registration CLOSED
• 10 a.m.-11 a.m.: Online registration packet pick-up
• 10 a.m.-11 a.m.: CASH ONLY for same-day registration on site
• 10 a.m.: Zumba party and festival activities start
• 11 a.m.: Race starts
• 12:30 p.m.: Costume contest
• 1 p.m.: End of event

Race Information

• Race goes on regardless of weather
• Race is not timed
• Distance: 3.09 miles
• Start/finish location: Fort Carson Iron Horse Park
• Race start: runners start at front, walkers and strollers start behind
• During race: runners to the left, walkers to the right
• Strollers welcome, must be fit for dirt trail
• Parking available at Iron Horse Park west parking lot (Sheridan Ave.), Fort Carson commissary and William Reed Special Events Center

The Rules

• All children supervised by parent/s or guardian/s at all times
• Fort Carson MWR is in no way responsible for lost/stolen/damaged race packets. If you lose your race packet, you must purchase a new one.
• Individual waivers required for all registrations
• Wristbands required for participants and spectators
• Removing and tampering with wristbands voids admission into festival activities
• Full face masks and weapons as part of a costume are not allowed
• No pets allowed except for ADA service animals
• Prohibited items: bags larger than 11”x11”, glass containers, illegal substances, weapons, fireworks, staked/golf umbrellas
• Unlicensed vending prohibited
