Description

- The Student Nutrition & Activity Clinic for Kids (SNACK) Program and McMinnville Parks & Recreation are teaming up to host this 1st-annual Halloween-themed fun run and activity fair in Yamhill County, OR. This family-friendly event includes the Monster Dash 5K, Monster Mile Kids Run, costume contest, and themed games and activities at the Monster Midway Carnival. The carnival (free and open to the public) goes from 12-3 PM and the 5K start time is 1:30 PM.

Monster Mile (Kids 14 and under): $10

Monster Dash 5K (all ages): $20

Proceeds benefit the SNACK Program and McMinnville Parks & Recreation

Course Info

The Wellness Trail, located at the southern end of Linfield College's campus, is a 1.5-mile mulched loop. The race will start at the adjacent parking lot, "Wildcat Circle," loop the trail twice, and finish in the same place. The course is flat.

Directions

Coming from Portland:

Take I-5 South and then take the exit towards OR-99W S/Pacific Hwy W through Tigard, Newberg, and Dundee. Take OR-18W and get off at the second McMinnville exit towards Linfield College. Turn right on 99W, then right again on SE Booth Bend Road. Turn left at the southern entrance to the Linfield Campus.

Coming from Salem:

Go northwest on Hwy 221 out of West Salem and turn left onto Zena Road. Turn right onto OR-99W and head north into McMinnville. Turn right onto SE Booth Bend Road. Turn left at the southern entrance to the Linfield Campus.
