5th ANNUAL WALTON HALF MARATHON and 5K RUN/WALK...

• Half Marathon:- Run 13.1 Miles
• 5K Run / Walk :- Run 3.1 Miles

The Half Marathon course is mostly flat and fast.  It is USATF Certified and can be used as a qualifying event for other races including the Peachtree Road Race.  USATF Certification #GA13063WC.

Event details and schedule

Race day and packet pickup begins at 6:30AM

5K starts at 7:45AM

Half Starts at 8:30AM

Awards for the 5K will start as soon as the 5K is complete.

Awards for the Half Marathon can be picked up as the results are posted.

Awards: All Half Marathon participants will receive a medal.  Both the Half and the 5K will have standard Overall and age group awards.

Timing and Results: Finish line management are results provided by Classic Race Services with results posted to www.classicraceservices.com, www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com and www.coolrunning.com.

Series Affiliation: Both races are on the 2016 Black Bag Race Series and the Run and See Georgia Grand Prix.

Shirts and Goodies: Shirts are guaranteed to those who pre-register.  Race day registrants are not guaranteed a shirt or size.  There will be plenty of refreshments.

Other Info: In case of rain, the races will go on.  Delay of the start may happen in case of severe weather in the area at race time.  If severe weather continues, then the race director or local authorities may make the call to cancel the race at that time.  Sorry, no refunds.
