The Metro Centre at Owings Mills 5K Race takes runners on a picturesque tour of the Transit-Oriented Development now rising in the Owings Mills section of Baltimore County. Racers can access the race from the Owings Mills Metro Station, which is locating directly adjacent to the course. Red Brook Health & Wellness Center will participate with pre and post-race stretching exercises, as well as a mini-trade show displaying the latest products and programs to assure a healthy lifestyle.

Entry Fees:

$25 until November 3
$30 at packet pickup and on race day

The event will be held rain or shine, and entry fees are non-refundable.

Course Information:

The out-and-back 5k course will begin at the Metro Centre at Owings Mills Development and travel around the Metro Station before heading out to Painters Mill Road for a section on the roads. Runners turn around prior to Red Run Boulevard and backtrack the way they came to return to the finish line. The course is entirely on paved roads. Pets, skateboards, roller skates, and other wheeled devices (other than strollers and wheelchairs) are not allowed on the course for the 5k.

Awards:

The top 3 overall finishers (male and female)

Awards also go to the top male and female in the following age groups:

19 & Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+

Charitable Partner:

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will receive a portion of the proceeds from this event, and will be onsite with information on how you can help the fight against blood cancers.

Amenities:

All 5k registrants signed up by October 26th will receive a race shirt in their requested size (sizes and availability of shirts are not guaranteed to those registering after October 26th). Water will be available at the halfway point of the 5k course, and course marshals will direct racers at major turns. Red Brook Health & Wellness Center will participate with pre and post-race stretching exercises, as well as a mini-trade show displaying the latest products and programs to assure a healthy lifestyle.

Packet Pick Up:

Packets will be available for pick up on Saturday, November 5th from 7-7:50 AM at the start/finish line in the Metro Centre Development. Additional packet pickups may be announced, so please check back prior to the race for the latest details.
