Description

Hattiesburg’s Hobble Then Gobble five mile race began in 2006 and is a local favorite for its course and unique awards. The two mile walk race was added in 2010 with great success. With 2016 we have changed the event to include a 1 mile fun run and changed the two mile walk to a 5k run/walk division. Participation has increased every year and we project there will be over 375 runners this year. The Arc of Southeast Mississippi is a non-profit United Way agency dedicated to providing community based services to individuals with disabilities and their families.

Course: A beautiful course between the lakes and through the spillways. Your shoes may get wet!

5 Mile Run Divisions

Frozen Turkeys will be presented to the Male and Female Overall, Master and Grand Master winners
Age Group Awards to the top 3 Males and Females in 10 year age groups
5k Run/Walk Division

Virtual Race: $25. Register for the virtual race to show your support if you cannot participate on race day. As with all other registrations, virtual participants registered by November 5, 2016 will receive a t- shirt and goody bag. Virtual participants are encouraged to snap a photo of their “race” and share on The Arc social media site.
