Help us kick off the Holiday season with a 5k in full Santa Claus Costume! Special Olympics New Mexico would like to introduce the first annual Santa Shuffle and Elf Scoot! 

Special Olympics New Mexico invites you to join the fun of this premier race, The Santa Shuffle 5K (3.1 Miles) Run & Fitness Walk and Elf Scoot 1K (.6 Mile) Kids Fun Run. What makes this race so unique? Where else can you run a race where your registration includes a full Santa Claus costume- shirt, pants, belt, hat & beard (Children will receive a t-shirt & Elf hat.) The event will be held at the scenic Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum! Bring out the whole family for a morning of fun - runners/walkers of all levels are welcome!

Registration Fees

5K Santa Shuffle Run & Fitness Walk $35 (Registration fee includes a 5 piece Santa Suite!) 

1K Elf Scoot Fun Run (age 10 and under) $10 - T-Shirts are included! 

Race Times

5K Santa Shuffle Run and Fitness Walk will start promptly at 9:00am.

1K Elf Scoot Kids' Fun Run will start promptly at 10:00am.

Please show up at the start line 15 minutes early (ready to go) so that you don't miss out!

Packet Pick-up Packet pick-up will be available at the Heart & Sole Sports, Friday, December 2nd, from noon-4pm.  

Heart & Sole Sports is located at: 2817 San Mateo Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87110.

Race packets will also be available one hour prior to race start times.  Please try your best not to pick-up race packets close to race times (especially less than 30mins prior to race start times) - we cannot guarantee delivery of race packets close to race start times.

Post-Race Event and Awards

Join us for post-race refreshments (Posole, Breakfast Burritos and coffee)! Awards will be given to the top male and female finishers.

Parking

Parking will be available at Anderson Abruzzo Albuquerque International Balloon Museum

Bathrooms

Real bathrooms will be available (whew!). If need be, additional port-o-potties may be made available near the race start.
