Do I need to be some kind of super runner to be in this race?
Nope! There are plenty of other great 5ks out there to test speed and performance. The Ugly Sweater Fun Run is just about spending a great time with friends and family. You can run, walk, skip, crawl, or dance if you wanna!

What is included with my registration?

EVERY REGISTERED RUNNER GETS:

• Custom, Ugly Sweater Fun Run Knit Hat (FREE while supplies last if registered before November 7)
• 5k of fun!

How does a team work compared with a solo runner?
You register as a team (2 person minimum, no maximum) rather than as an individual.  You get to pick a cool custom team name, anything from “2 Tacky 4 U” to “Santa’s Little Helpers.”  You then get to run/walk together and help each other get really tacky and ugly throughout the 5K course.  There is no “relay” component, and team members can finish together as a unit or separately.

Who does it benefit?
We are a local, for profit company that partners with local charities. The Ugly Sweater Fun Run will be benefiting F.U.E.L. for Kids in Clarksville. Read more about them at: www.fuelforkids.org

Can I push a jogging stroller and/or run with my kids?
Absolutely. (Just make sure you’ve been eating your Wheaties!) Don’t forget to gussy up your stroller with something ugly too!

All kiddos 12 and under can run with an adult FREE of charge and do not need to register. Unregistered children do not get a race packet.

Can I run with my dog/cat/lizard?
For the safety of our runners, spectators and animal friends, we do not allow animals at any of our races.

Is there an age limit for younger runners?
No age limits! If they can cover (running, jogging, walking, strolling) the three miles of The Ugly Sweater Fun Run course, and 1K Walk, they can absolutely participate! Remember though, as soon as they turn 13 they will need to register and have a race bib!

Is this a timed run?
Nope. It’s a fun-run and a chance to burn a few calories.

Am I able to transfer my registration to another person?
Yes! You can transfer your registration to someone else up to 1 week prior to the event. In order to transfer registrations, you need to send us the name, contact info, email, and shirt size of the person to whom the registration will be transferred to. We can then take care of the rest.

Is there a race packet pick up for the event? How does all that work?
Yes. Details on when and where will be posted on our Facebook page and website, the week of the race as well as emailed to all registered runners approximately 10 days before the event.

Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
You bet! Send them with a printed or electronic copy of your confirmation email.

Are there refunds?
Sorry, no. If the event is held as advertised, we cannot issue refunds.  The logistics of setting up and planning the event make it impossible.  Just make sure you are good to go before signing up.  If for some reason you can’t make it to race day, at least come by and get your race packet and say hi!
