• 5K Run :- Run 3.1 Miles

The Jingle Bell Run is a 5K chipped run along with a children’s 1K run. This is the 2nd annual Jingle Bell Run and it will be a great opportunity to come out, spend some time with your family, run a 5K and support Mother Against Drunk Driving. This year’s Jingle Bell Run will take place on Friday, December 2nd, this will be an evening race so come to light up the streets with glow sticks and jingle bells!! The 5K will kick off this year’s Christmas Parade for the City of La Porte which should be a ton of fun. The first 20 finishers in the 1K race and first 100 finishers in the 5K race will receive a Jingle Bell Run medal. We will have awards for the top finishing runners in Male, Female, and Kid’s categories as well. The Jingle Bell Run is a family friendly race where you can participate in children’s games, photo opportunities with Santa and socialize, all while helping a good cause. Since the 5K will be timed and chipped it will also be a great opportunity for runners who want to see if they can set a new personal best time!

On-site registeration: 6 pm 

Opening ceremonies begin: 6:45 pm 

1K race begins: 7:00 pm

5K race begins at 7:30 pm

Race awards: 8:30 pm 

Packet pick up will be at Christmas on Main Thursday evening (details to come) Friday 12/2 at City of La Porte Rec. Center 1322 S. Broadway, La Porte 77571 from 12pm - 4 pm. You can also pick up your packet starting at 6:00 PM at La Porte High School.
