This race is intended to raise money for the Dr. Darrell Burnham Memorial Scholarship fund under the umbrella of The Greater Pinebelt Community Foundation. All proceeds will benefit a high school student planning to major in math or science at The University of Southern Mississippi or Mississippi State University.
