- The March for Marrow DC 5K Run & Walk is hosted by the Aplastic Anemia and MDS International Foundation (AAMDSIF)*.
March for Marrow DC honors Richard W. Carr, a prominent D.C. real estate developer, and Ivan Fisher, an 8-year-old boy, both who lost their lives to aplastic anemia. The goal of the March for Marrow is to raise awareness and funds for education and research for bone marrow failure diseases.
