his unique off-pavement trail run 5k will take place at 8am, Sunday, December 11, 2016 at the scenic Celery Fields in Sarasota. This chip timed race features a hill top finish!

Everyone can join in and enjoy this race! Runners, walkers, adults, kids – something for everyone! The Celery Fields Hill is the highest outdoor spot in Sarasota, providing panoramic views of the surrounding area.

In addition to the 5k and 1 mile run/walk, King of the Hill and Kid of the Hill Scrambles will give participants an opportunity to race up the hill to capture the flag and gain bragging rights to the title!

Join us on the hill, you may hear the lions next door at the Big Cat Rescue! Awards, live teen band by Everyone Rocks, Food, Fun!

We'll be sharing a lot of photos on our Facebook Page to remind you of what an awesome morning this will be!

Proceeds of Lauren’s Rainbow Run 5k will benefit local Teens affected by cancer through our “Life Interrupted” grants. Our grant cycle will begin January 1, 2017.

The 5k will also have information on the Be The Match bone marrow donor registry. Thousands of people search for a match each day; it takes just one match to potentially save a life.

Race Day Parking:

Race participants cannot park in the parking lot by the new restroom building! Pls follow directional signs few yards up to Center Rd and turn North -follow to end of road and grassy parking beyond fence. You are very close to the starting line! 

Your friends can jump in on the fun on-line, at packet pick ups or even on race day!

We'll have some of our very cool raffle items on display at the packet pick ups! Courtesy of Sun Bum, New Balance, Mote Marine and more. Get your tickets early! Also, we'll have a live teen band by Everyone Rocks playing hill top - teens for teens :)

Proceeds of this race will go to local teens fighting cancer with our "life interrupted" grants.
