The 5th Annual Ross Mullooly Project, Outrunning Cancer 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run...

Since our inaugural event The Ross Mullooly Project has donated over $80,000 to Hope Lodge in the past four years.  We were recently able to purchase two new vans for patient transport with the help of People’s drugstore.  We also deliver snacks to Mary Bird Perkins and Chabert/Ocshner chemotherapy units twice a month.   We have made donations to the Children's Miracle Network (A favorite of my son), been the sole sponsor of  the Friends of the Bayou Children's Health Fair, gift cards and toys to patients spending the holidays in the hospital, DVD players and over 150 movies to the Hope Lodge and the Oncology Unit at Ochsner  Medical Center,  a walker, wheelchair, and toiletries to the Hope Lodge, DVD’s and needed supplies to the Ronald McDonald House, and donated money to several needy cancer patients to pay transportation costs, utility bills, and rent that they would otherwise be unable to pay.  We lost our son on April 21, 2013, but have decided to continue his legacy at the request of his friends and the community.  Ross’ passion was philanthropy, but he is also remembered as an outstanding athlete.   His spirit and work ethic light our way in keeping his legacy alive and we feel the parish government would be an excellent sponsor for this 5K family oriented event.  EVERY CENT WE RAISE GOES TO CHARITY.  NO ONE IN THIS ORGANIZATION GET PAO

Free food and refreshments as always and entertainment by THE JORDAN ANDERSON BAND.
