Key School 5K/10K & Family Fun Run...

   The Key School Parents' Association is sponsoring the 37th annual Key School 5K/10K & Family Fun Run.  Flat & Fast!  The USATF-certified 5k (MD12017JS) & 10K (MD12018JS) courses are ideal for those running their very first race as well as those looking to achieve a new PR.  Runners will wind their way through the scenic community of Hillsmere Shores on paved roads, catching glimpses of the South River along the route.  Runners of all ages and abilities are welcome!

8:00 - 8:45 AM - Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up

9:00 AM - 5K & 10K start

9:15 AM - 1-mile Family Fun Run start

Entry Fees (On-line fees include the Active.com processing fee)

5K or 10K:

...On-line: $25     ....Race Day: $30

1-mile Family Fun Run:

...On-line: $15/individual   or   $55/Family Pack (min 4 max 6 participants)

...Race Day: $20/individual

Snooze-in: $15

...Cheer on the runners from the comfort of your own bed!  Sleep in late on race day and receive a race shirt for your support!

Participants will receive a short sleeve cotton T-shirt: Size and availability not guaranteed for those registering after October 5th.

Packet Pick-up

...Pre-registered participants may pick up their packets on race day morning at Key School starting at 8:00 AM.

Chip Timing (5K and 10K)
Chip Timing with start & finish mats for the 5K and 10K events will be provided by Maryland Timing.  Timing chips must be picked up on race day morning and returned at the end of the race.  Volunteers will be collecting timing chips from runners at the finish line.

Top 2 overall finishers (Male/Female) (Gift Cards: 1st Place: $100, 2nd Place: $50)

5K:  Top 2 male/female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

10K:  Top 2 male/female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

1-mile Family Fun Run

Don't miss the 1-mle Family Fun Run at 9:15 AM.  All Fun Run finishers will receive a medal!

Jogging strollers and walkers are welcome but please be sure to start at the back!  Mile markers, water & sports drink station along the course.  Post-race refreshments.
