Second Annual Cocoa Bean 5K run/walk...

• 5K Run :- Run 3.1 Miles

Join us for the Second Annual Cocoa Bean 5K on Saturday November 26th 2016 at 9 AM sponsored by Penn State Hershey Community Outreach to benefit local food banks at this time of need.  Last year we had a great group of over 200 runners at our inaugural event.  Field limit of 300 athletes. 

Premium:  All pre-registered runners will receive an awesome commemorative campfire mug!  No sizing needed!   $20 registration fee.

Limited to 300 runners.  The first runners to sign up will receive an LED armband great for night running!  $15 value; courtesy of RETTEW Associates. 

Runners and Walkers will enjoy a traffic free accurate out-and-back rolling 5K course that follows the John Eschenour trail from the Applied Reseach Building along Wood Road.  Course is paved sidewalk.  Water stop half-way.  Timing provided by the Harrisburg Area Road Runners Club.

Race-Day registration and packet pick-up:  Starts at 7:30 AM in the lobby of the Hershey Center for Applied Research Building 1214 Research Boulevard Hershey PA.  

  Burn off those Thanksgiving calories and join us for the 2nd Annual  Cocoa Bean 5K which takes place on an accurately-measured rolling out-and-back course along the John Eshenour Trail starting from the Hershey Applied Research Center off Bullfrog Valley Road.

Location and Registration: Hershey Center for Applied Research 1214 Research Boulevard  Hershey PA.  Plenty of parking at building parking lot.  Restrooms available.

  Race starts promptly at 9 AM

AWARDS:  Hotel Hershey Gift certificates to overal M/F;  Appalachian Running Company Certificates to Top Masters M/F.  Awards to Top 3 M/F under 14; 15 - 19; 20 - 29; 30 - 39; 40 - 49; 50 - 59; 60 - 69; 70 -74; 75- 79; 80 and over.
