This race is to honor Jonah Guider who died June 21, 2015 of pulmonary hypertension at the age of 10. Race entries by November 6, 2016 are guaranteed T-shirt. Thanks to sponsors, the race will be raffling items to include: Fleet Feet shoe voucher and gift cards, Hackett Brother's gift card, Flow Aquatic gift cards, MAC one-year memberships, and many more. 100% of entry fees and money collected through raffles will benefit Pulmonary Hypertension Association and pediactric research of pulmonary hypertension. The 2nd annual race will take place in the back parking lot of Blackman High School. The route runs by a beautiful memorial Blackman Elementary School has created in Jonah's memory. The race continues through a quiet neighborhood and ends back at Blackman High School.
From I24 E: take exit 76 and exit and turn right onto Medical Center Parkway, which turns into Fortress at the intersection of Manson. Continue straight and turn right onto Blaze Drive. The school will be on the right. Please turn into to the second parking. Signs will be posted.
From I24W: take exit 76 and turn left onto Medical Center Parkway, which turns into Fortress at the intersection of Manson. Continue straight and turn right onto Blaze Drive. The school will be on the right. Please turn in the second parking lot. Signs will be posted.
