Surfin with Santa 5K...

• 5K Run :- Run 3.1 Miles

HAVE YOU BEEN NAUGHTY OR NICE THIS YEAR?  Santa knows!  JOIN us in a fun filled Christmas costume themed 5K run/walk presented by Surfset Atlanta.  The first 100 participants will receive a special gift and ALL registered participants will receive a T-shirt.

If you are looking to break your 5K time for the New Year, this is the course to run!

Event details and schedule

EVENT SCHEDULE:

8:00am - Packet Pickup and Registration opens

9:00am - 5K race starts

10:15am - Award Ceremony

COST:

$25.00 until 11:59pm November 23rd

$30.00 November 24th to 11:59pm Decenber 16th

$35.00 Race Day

PACKET PICKUP: 

Packet Pickup will take place in front of Otwell Middle School on December 17th at 8:00am

TIMING & SCORING:

Race will be Chip-Timed

COURSE:

The course is USATF certified and a 2017 PEACHTREE ROAD RACE QUALIFIER!

AWARDS:

Awards will be given for Overall Male/Female, Top 3 Male and Female in age groups.  Age groups include: 14 and under,15-17,18-24,25-29,30-34,35-39, 40-44,45-49,50-54,55-59,60-64,65-69,70-74,75 and over.  

PARKING:

Plenty of parking at Otwell Middle School and Forsyth Central High School.

PROCEEDS:

A portion of proceeds support Hilarity for Charity, FCHS Swim & Dive Team, and Pine Cove.  We will also be collecting new unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, to be distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.

FREE pictures with Santa will be available the day of the race!
