The 1st annual Unity run takes place on a scenic, point-to-point course during the night height of autumn. It starts in the mist of a beautiful Pecan trees lined street. Turn on Wells street, turn right on Hendrix street pass our awesome Memorial water fountain. You get a view of newly  constructed Middle School and our state of the art Tiger Town. You get a fantastic view of small town living on the route continuing thru. Barnes st, Smith St to get a view of the Parker house Bed and Breakfast Inn (previously owned by the Claxton Fruitcake Owners) continuing on to Newton St., Railroad and Ralph St. You will circle around the park and ending back at the starting point of the event at the Pecan Grove. Come and help us make this event one for everyone to remember.

Event details and schedule

The event is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. We are asking that all participants arrive at 7:30 for a briefing. The. Course route is listed in the description. When you arrive please park in the Weeks st. parking lot. Bring a photo ID and sign copy of our waiver (one will be provided for you at the date of the event. Dress in layers and appropriate footwear. Come to be prepared to have fun.
