Run for Babies...

Come celebrate Prematurity Awareness Month by participating in the Run for Babies! The March of Dimes, Comanche County Health Department, and United Way of Southwest Oklahoma are pleased to present Lawton's third annual run. The purpose of this 5K glow run is to bring awareness to premature birth. Far too many babies in Oklahoma are born too soon... join us as we light the night for preemies everywhere!

The Run for Babies will take place on Friday, Nov. 4th at 7:00 p.m. in Elmer Thomas Park. The registration fee of $15.00 includes a t-shirt, race bag and glow gear (necklace and arm bands).

This event is open to EVERYONE- we invite you to run or walk at your own pace!

Event details and schedule

Packet pick-up will be available on Friday, November 4^th from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Comanche County Health Department, and also from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Elmer Thomas Park - Holiday House on race day. The packet will include race bag and t-shirt. "Glow gear" will be handed out near the starting line prior to the race.

The race will start and end at the Holiday House. In case of inclement weather, all participants will be notified of race changes by e-mail.
