The 5k race will begin promptly at 8:00am with race day registration and a pre-race breakfast provided by Chick-fil-a of Miramar Beach starting at 7:00am. There will also be a after race party provided by the Crab Trap of Destin. The first 100 registered walkers/runners (age 18+) who register by November 17, 2016 will receive a goody bag and there will be prizes for the best turkey, Indian or Pilgrim costume. At time of registration, please acknowledge liability waiver.
Also, since the community has always been supportive of the Choctawhatchee Cheerleaders, in conjunction with the 5k Turkey Trot Run/Walk, we will be hosting a canned food drive. For each non-perishable food item a participant brings, they will receive a $1.00 off their registration fees ($5.00 maximum). For the fun run, each non-perishable food item they bring, they will receive a $0.50 off ($2.00 max). If you pre-register and bring non-perishable food items, you will be reimbursed your corresponding discount on the morning of the event.

9:30-11:00am - Post-event party provided by The Crab Trap of Destin for registered racers.
