Keith Hills 5K Turkey Trot
- 5K Run:- Run 3.1 Miles
- We are a FREE 5K race that collects food and money for the Harnett County Food Pantry.
In lieu of a registration fee we ask that you make food or monetary donations. Over the previous four races we have raised over $4000 for the Food Pantry along with countless cans of food to help hungry families throughout the county.
New this year, we will be offering a race t-shirt to all runners who donate at least $25 to the Food Pantry. Shirts will be given to those who preregister by November 18th.
In addition to t-shirts, medals will be given to 1st and 2nd place finishers in 5 age groups.
All kids 5 and under will receive a medal if they have preregistered. To ensure that we have enough medals for all pre-schoolers please register your child.
The race begins and ends at the Keith Hills Country Club Pool Parking Lot. The race runs though the scenic Keith Hills neighborhood.
It is a great way to help the community and burn some calories before indulging in that great Thanksgiving day feast. Bring your family, tell your friends and make this a new Thanksgiving Day tradition.
This race will go on rain or shine, warm or cold, snow or ice.
This race is not on a certified course. We are relatively lo-tech when it comes to timing.
The 5K Race begins and ends at that pool/country club parking lot at Keith Hills. The route encompasses scenic Keith Hills neighborhood. It will include two water stops with the second including candy corn for all of our non-competitive runners.
