Starts on the corner of the 463 and 202 Parkways!

All runs are on the 202 Parkway!

202 PARKWAY WILL BE COMPLETELY CLOSED TO TRAFFIC

All 8k & 5k runners registered by November 13th are guaranteed and a special edition DRI-FIT TECH TEE!!!

The t shirts are unisex sizing and are only for the longer runs

Races are professionally chip timed by DQ Events!!!

Awards in 5 year age increments!!!

This event will sell out before race day.

This event is a rain or shine event. No refunds, transfers or credits will be granted. The race director has the right to alter or cancel the race due to circumstances that may pose a danger to those involved

**We are expecting over 2000 runners...and one VERY special guest appearance to start the event:-)

Everyone who signed up before the t shirt deadline of November 13th is GUARANTEED a tech t shirt!!!

After that date, we cannot guarantee a t shirt, especially for those who sign up in the last couple of weeks.

The course is a nice mix of an 8k, 5k & 1/2 mile kid's run & 2 mile walk! 

**A RUNNER EMAIL WAS SENT OUT TO ALL REGISTERED RUNNERS ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 18TH AS WELL AS MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21st OUTLINING THE DETAILS OF THE RACE AND EVERYTHING THAT YOU WILL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT RACE DAY** 

Packet Pick up will be at The Joseph Ambler Inn the on Wednesday, November 23rd. The time for PPU will most likely be from 4-7 but this will be confirmed closer to the event.  

PARKING ON RACE DAY: PARKING ON RACE DAY WILL BE AT THE ABINGTON HEALTH/KIDDIE ACADEMY LOT AT 1020 HORSHAM RD (but this lot will fill by 6:30). THEN PARKING WILL CONTINUE IN THE COST CO PARKING LOT. ***IT IS VERY VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU ONLY CROSS OVER 202 AT THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AT COST CO DRIVE AND 202 WHEN THE WALK SIGN ALLOWS YOU TO DO SO. ***DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS OVER 202 ANYWHERE ELSE!!!**

This event will be CHIP TIMED with the chips embedded in the special edition NWTT race bibs and there will be timing mats at the start, therefor your time starts once you cross the start line.

So no need to panic to get to the front:-)

The 8k run will begin PROMPTLY at 8:00 followed by the 5k run at 8:03 followed by the kid's run at 8:07 and then finally the walkers will start at 8:10.

All three runs and the walk will be completely on the US 202 Parkway! (yes it's COMPLETELY CLOSED TO VEHICLE TRAFFIC!!) This is VERY RARE OPPORTUNITY to run actually ON the parkway with all of your closest friends and NO CARS!  It's THE PERFECT route for an 8k & 5k...it's beautiful, rolling and there are NO CARS!!!

*Strollers are welcome...but we ask that they start towards the rear of the start.

And...we will have plenty of folks cheering you on the whole way as well as one water stop for the 5k runners and two for the 8k runners. 

Why are we holding this event? Because we want to bring folks together in a meaningful way, get friends and families OUTSIDE to enjoy our beautiful area that we live in and most importantly, to raise funds for the Kid's Foundation! A portion of the proceeds from this event will go directly to the Life is good Kid's Foundation:-) as well as the Wissahickon Water Shed Association!!!
