The 7th Annual Light the Way 5k at the Linda Vista Golf Course on Friday, December 16th at 6:30pm
Kids FREE Fun Run with Santa at 6:15pm! See below for details.

This festive evening race features festive luminaries around the course, holiday music, Christmas lights, and a bonfire at the finish area. Christmas cookies & hot cocoa served at the finish!

REGISTRATION

• The "Early Bird" Fee: $22   (Tuesday, November 1st through Sunday, November 29th)
• The "Rest of Us" Fee: $27  (Wednesday, November 30th through Sunday, December 11th)
• The "Procrastinator" Fee: $32 (Monday, December 12th through Thursday, December 15th)
• The "11th Hour" Fee (Also Known As Race Day Registration): $35 - Only available at the Linda Vista Golf Course on Friday, December 17th from 5pm-6:00pm.
  

PACKET PICK-UP 

Friday December 16th: Runner's Edge basement from 11am-2pm
Friday, December 16th: Linda Vista Golf Course from 5pm-6pm. 

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE?
Each participant will receive battery powered Christmas lights that are runner-safe, so you can be your brightest for this evening 5k. Oh yeah and let's not forget the hot chocolate, Christmas cookies, live band, glow-sticks, bonfire and a special appearance by Santa and even Mrs. Claus. 

PARKING
Thanks to the Linda Vista Golf Course, we are able to use their parking lot for the race. The course has two lots: one main lot in front of the clubhouse and one behind the clubhouse. We are asking that everyone please carpool. With a limited number of spaces, only 100 cars will fit in the lot. There is no parking along Miller Creek Road. If the parking lot is full at the golf course, please park on Linda Vista Drive (about 100 meters from the golf course).

STAY BRIGHT & SAFE
We strongly encourage the use of headlamps, flashlights and any other awesome, festive item you can find to light your way. Please have fun with your running outfit! Wear your best (or worst!) Christmas attire for this race. We also encourage the use of traction devices on your running shoes. We may have rain, ice, snow, all three or none of the above. Be prepared for all types of weather conditions. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION
The course is (3) one mile+ loops around the perimeter of the golf course. There will be luminarias around the entire course to light your way. The perimeter is almost entirely on pavement with a few areas on dirt. Please be mindful and stay off of the greens. 

SO, ARE WE GETTING TIMED THIS YEAR?
Yes! For the first time in the history of the Light the Way 5k we will have chip timing by Competitive Timing. Don't worry though, this is still the same family-friendly, fun-run that you've come to love, but with immediate and accurate results.

FUN RUN
Have your children run with Santa at 6:15pm for this FREE kids fun run before the start of the 5k. No need to sign up! Please meet by the 5k Start Line at 6:10pm. 

OH YEAH, AND LET'S NOT FORGET...
