Race the Bar Preyer’s 8K & 5K

 - The Preyer Brewing 8k was a great addition to our 2016 calendar and we are proud to say that they will be the second race in The Race the Bar series again in 2017.  One nice change, runners still looking to do a 5K will be able to choose the 5K option in 2017!  Double points will be awarded for the 8K and single points for the 5K! With the race being in May, we have made the start time a bit later to allow the sun to go down a bit.  The important things have stayed the same – great beer, amazing finisher’s glasses and awards, and a gorgeous course.

What You Get With Your Registration

• Two tickets for Preyer Brewing beer!
• Finishers’ glass (There is a unique one for each race. Participate in every race in the series to complete the set.)
• Custom race shirt (Men’s and Women’s sizing) – Shirts only guaranteed to registrations made by May 10th

Awards

• The event will be chip timed by Trivium Racing
• Finishers awards will be given to all finishers
• Awards to the top 3 males and females in both the 5K and 8K. in the following age groups: open, 19 and under, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70+.
• Points towards The Race the Bar series. Series awards for top 3 males and females in the following categories: open, 19 and under, 20-29,30-39,40-49,50-59,60-69,70+. Double points for the 8k and regular points for the 5k.
