The Bluffs 5K & 12K at San Onofre...

Stunning views of surf, sand, and the endless blue Pacific Ocean await in both the 5K and 12K races coming to The Bluffs on January 7, 2017.  Run from Old Pacific Highway down to the beach, and enjoy breathtaking views of the San Onofre cliffside and beach.   Continue along the beach and listen to the peaceful sounds of the ocean... then run back up the beach trail to enjoy the views from the upper trail.   Both events are bucket list worthy!

A portion of each paid registration will benefit the San Onofre Parks Foundation.  Please consider an additional donation to the Foundation through the registration process. The San Onofre Parks Foundation is a California non-profit 501(c) (3) public benefit, charitable corporation, whose mission is to provide for education and interpretive services regarding all aspects of the natural, cultural, historical and biological diversity of California State Parks at San Onofre and San Clemente State Beaches; promoting environmental awareness and ethics; and enhancing the quality of recreation experience at these unique coastal parks.

LOCATION

San Onofre State Beach & Campground

1-5 Basilone Exit, then 3 miles donw PCH to the park entrance.  There's no street address.

$15 parking fee payable at park entry gate

RACE SCHEDULE (subject to change)

Check in begins at 7:00 AM

12K race begins at 8:00 AM

5K begins at 8:30 AM

Awards:  10:00 - 10:30 AM (subject to change)

PRIZES

Top three overall winners in the 5K and 12K race receive special awards.

Age group winners, three deep, win awards in these categories:  19 and Under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and Over.
