 - The Heroes Challenge 5k is open to men, women and youth of all ages. Register and come join those in our community who wish to honor all of the Everyday Heroes who make such a difference in our lives...firefighters, police, doctors, nurses, teachers and many others. Medals and prizes will be awarded to the top runners in each of several divisions. Even if you don't run, sign up for a sponsorship and come join the fun. There will be food trucks, music, prizes and more! A portion of the proceeds from this event will be donated to several worthy causes, including the LAFD Widows, Orphans & Disabled Firemen's Fund, the Los Angeles Police Memorial Foundation, and the Valley Food Bank.
