Join Alonzo Mourning and celebrity guests as we take over North Miami during the Zo’s Winter Groove Health & Wellness Family Fun Day 5K run/walk. Proceeds from the run will benefit programs under the Mourning Family Foundation. Zo’s Winter Groove is a four-day weekend FUNRAISER benefiting the Mourning Family Foundation
The Mourning Family Foundation (MFF) is a not-for profit 501(c)(3) public fundraising foundation created by Alonzo and Tracy Mourning. The Mourning Family Foundation was created to inspire others through advocacy, education, and enrichment services and allows donors with varied interests in children’s issues the benefit of giving to several charities from their one contribution. Since 1997, Mourning Family Foundation has raised over $25 million for various programs that aid in the development of children and their families, particularly those in socioeconomically challenged communities. The foundation supports the Overtown Youth Center and Honey Shine, Inc.
Entry is NON-TRANSFERABLE, NON-REFUNDABLE, and NON-DEFERABLE. ALL TIMES AND LOCATION ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE.

This is great for any school groups that need service hours. There is absoutely NO TRANSFERS from one person to another. Entires are non-refundable, non- transferable, and non-deferable. **No dogs/and or pets are allowed on the race course or in the event location

Start Time: 8:00 AM
Parking: Ronald L Book Stadium/FIU North Campus will have signage as well as volunteers directing everyone to the proper area for parking.
Zo’s Health & Wellness Family Fun Day 5K Run/Walk will provide parking at Florida International University North Campus. Due to the projected overflow of attendees, the City of North Miami and the Mourning Family Foundation will provide shuttle services to and from the North Miami Athletic Stadium.
Shuttle services will begin at 6:30am-7:40am…*last pickup is scheduled for 7:40am for runners to complete registration to start the race at 8:00am.
***IMPORTANT INFORMATION*** 5K RUN/WALK start time is 8:00am…The race will start on time. If you have not completed registration on or before 7:55am, the Mourning Family Foundation will not be held liable and refunds will not be honored.
