2010 Galloping Gobbler 4 Miler:
- Fort Wayne's Thanksgiving Day tradition.
- A challenging run with over 1200 participants.
Course Info
- South on Leesburg Road from the St. Francis campus to the entrance of Lindenwood Cemetery; then run the beautiful wooded hills of historic Lindenwood, then back on Leesburg to St. Francis to finish at the Hutzell Athletic Center.
Directions
Hutzell Athletic Center is located just south of the intersection of Leesburg Road and Spring Street on Fort Waynes near west side.
The race is easily accessible from the I-69/ Hwy 14 (Illinois Road) interchange on Fort Wayne's southwest side. Take Illinois Road east to Ardmore/Hillegas; turn left (north) on Hillegas and go one mile to the intersection of Hillegas and Bass/Spring. Turn right (east) at the stoplight. Bass Road becomes Spring Street. Keep traveling east on Spring Street from the intersection at Lindenwood Avenue. Go to the east side of campus at Leesburg Road and then turn right (south) at Leesburg. Go one block and turn into the campus parking lot.
